breathing.

using deep tissue techniques and movement education. Topics include palpation,
visual pattern recognition, myofascial release, quality of touch, and
pertinent anatomy. (Strongly recommended preparation: Seeing for Bodyworkers
and Fitness Professionals)

class develops students' understanding of Structural Integration theory,
expands skill in pattern recognition, and presents new interventions for
the feet, spine, hips and shoulders.

What people say about Mary's classes
- "The entire class was a caring and loving environment. It made it
easy to ask questions."
- "Wow! this class has opened upsomuch for me: listening, seeing,
overall awareness of both clients and myself. Mary is organized, concise
and presented her material in a way that I can clearly understand. Thanks
very much for a great overall experience."
- "I'd like to thank the Rolf Institute for inviting Mary Bond to
teach this class as I believe she embodies what "embodiment" is
mostly about. I like the way Mary taught with a specific goal in mind, but
taught it holistically through engaging spirit and body."
- "Mary provides the elements with which you can create a tactile
dialogue with your client. she excels when words or demonstrations are inadequate
to convey the concept at hand. In these cases, she devises exercises whereby
you come to define the concept through your own body. Her methods assure
that learning continues long after the actual class."
- "Ms. Bond's depth of understanding of the human body is remarkable.
What is even more outstanding is her dedication to finding the unique way
to further each student's progress as a massage therapist and as a human
being. She is one of those rare teachers who can engage with a diverse group
and reach each person at the level of his or her own understanding." Maria
